So far, we’ve told businesses about how to create lasting relationships with freelancers, why freelancers are the answer for their next project, and that we will help you in both spheres. But we haven’t really gotten down to the nitty-gritty: who we are and what we stand for.
YourNett has officially launched to its global audience, establishing itself as the latest competitive networking online platform for freelancers and businesses.
“After my experience as a subcontractor and realising that I love helping people, I thought: ‘Why not help people all over the world by allowing them to grow individually and grow their professional network?’ Hence the name YourNett,” says Kacey Binder, Founder of the company.
YourNett was established in March 2020 when Binder was brainstorming a new business idea, which led him to work as a freelancer and then the birth of the YourNett concept.
The YourNett Difference
With sites like Upwork and Freelancer known as popular sites for freelancers to find work, Binder had to come up with identifying factors that would distinguish YourNett as unique:
“Our competitors have so many small charges and complications, and some don’t allow you to communicate offline, which is difficult for small companies and individuals looking to get something done quickly. With YourNett, we are always thinking of ways to benefit the customer in the long run.”
YourNett is a site that allows businesses to hire top freelancers from all over the world by posting jobs on a user-friendly platform, which the freelancers can then bid for with relevant project proposals. All payments to, and communication with, the freelancer are safely done on the site in order to secure the work. The platform features an encrypted personal chat and project message board service.
YourNett helps both freelancers and businesses in the following ways:
- Freelancers get global exposure on the site, helping them find work and populating their profiles with reviews
- Businesses are able to find top talent on the site in a quick and easy way
With the many woes businesses faced with the arrival of the pandemic, Binder aimed to encourage business owners to use the YourNett platform to find specialised skills without the costs that come with hiring professionals in-house.
The platform offers four membership plans:
- Trial: a free 30-day trial of the platform
- Standard: pay as little as $1 a month to find work
- Premium: pay $3 every 6 months with an increased bid threshold
- Professional: $30 a year for 500 bids and lifetime support from the YourNett team
The concept is centred on the idea that freelancers don’t have to pay exorbitant membership fees in order to have increased access to work opportunities. Binder wants to break the mould that other freelancing services conform to.
The End Goal
Binder’s vision for his new company is bold but necessary, aiming to achieve 1 million members on the platform by the end of 2021. “Our aim is to connect as many businesses as possible to individuals and freelancers from all over the world. I believe that YourNett is the company that will change the way everyone works and earns an income,” Binder explains.
